So cute!!!
Yesterday morning while I was getting ready for church- I hear Macie in her room saying over and over again- "oh- so cute, so cute". So, naturally I went to investigate. It looks like I got there a little too late. I got there right as emptied out the last 3 shirts. She had her whole drawer emptied out onto the floor and with each shirt she pulled out came the so cute!!!
Playing in the pile of shirts!
Carving Pumpkins
The other night we decided that we should carve some pumpkins with some friends. For some reason we thought that two 2 year olds would enjoy this- Macie did ok for about the first 5 minutes and then she was done. So Geoff and I took over. I carved the bat and he carved the ghost in the graveyard. I definately got the easier one!!!
Macie digging out the seeds
Checking her hands and telling us that they are dirty- she HATES her hands to be dirty.
The Family- don't you just love the girls faces- they look so happy to be doing this!!!!

How to get candy
How do you get candy out of a cupboard that you can't reach? Macie will demonstrate for you how this is done.
First- you go upstairs and bring one of your play chairs down so you can have something tall enough to stand on
Then- you take a good look at the candy
and you decide what piece you want
Then, you look at it to make sure you chose the right one
And when you are all done- you proudly say- "I did it!!!"

It's Fall!
I love the fall time. It is soooo pretty here!! There are so many trees and when they are all changing colors it is just so pretty. I also love it because it means that there will be leaves falling off the trees, which means endless hours of playtime for Macie. It is just great! She loves jumping in them, hiding in them, and sliding down the slide into them. It is so much fun to watch. so here she is in the act!

Life is great!

Buried in the leaves!! So fun!!

Columbus Day Parade
Today we went to the Columbus Day Parade. It was alot of fun, and also a little weird. Here is the reason it was weird.
This Lady decided to come and plop her bum right inbetween us, and some other dental students.
Do you see how she is just out of place and in the way? (straight above) weird. The reason she chose this particular spot was because there were kids in this place, which meant lots of candy. Apparently she thought that it was not rude to come and take all of the candy from the little kids, and when I say all- I mean a good majority of the candy- she would stick her arms out right in front of you and try and catch any candy that was thrown, then when she missed it, she would make sure and bend down and run out into the street to collect it all, leaving nothing for anyone else. It was rather weird and very rude. It is a good thing that we don't go to the parades for the candy- we go because Macie likes them, it is right by the dental school so we get to spend some time with Geoff, and it is just fun to get out. I mean the candy is bonus, but that is not what we go for.
Just thought that I would mention for those of you who are out west and in the snow- that it is HOT here today. It is around 80 degrees and we are wearing shorts and t-shirts. Are you jealous???!!!!!

craft time
Ok- so here are a couple of crafts that I have done lately. The first one is called salt dough. It is like playdough- only when you are done making what you want- you put it in the microwave for about 2 minutes or until it is hard- let it cool and then you can color your creation with markers, paint, or anything else you can think of. It was alot of fun and WAY easy.
Next- I made a tutu for Macie. It was sooo easy and only took me about 2 hours to make. All you do for this is get a piece of elastic, cut the tulle into strips and tie the tulle aroung the elastic- then just tie the elastic around your child's waste and you can slip it on and off as often as you like. Again- super easy and way cute and fun!!!
I was so excited for Macie to see this and I could only imagine how excited she was going to be- well when I showed it to her- she looked at me like I was crazy and won't even try it on- yes- she still has yet to wear it or play in it. So sad- maybe one day she will decide that it is cool.
So- for those of you who might want to do this with your own kids- here is the recipe:
1 cup salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup water
combine the flour and salt. Mix together, then make a well in the center and add water until it is smooth and not sticky. Then create!!!
We made pumpkins, witches, and ghosts for halloween!

I hear you!!
Today I was on the computer while the girls were taking their naps. I blew my nose and the next thing I hear is : "mom, I hear you. I hear you mom." So, I don't answer her (because I am laughing and want to see what she will do next) When I don't answer this is what I hear "hey Becky, I hear you! I wake up Becky, I hear you!" OH- she is so funny!!

Mother
Macie: mom, I going to call you mother. hahahaha
Me: You're going to call me mother?
Macie: ya, mother, mother, mother. hahahahaha. mother, mother, hahahahaha
Apparently she thinks that calling me mother is really funny- I honestly have no idea where she comes up with these things- but I was dying laughing because she thought that it was so funny!

Cleveland Happenings
Here are some of the few things we have been able to do the past few months.
We also had the chance to go to an airshow- they do an airshow here every year over labor day weekend, so Geoff took Macie with some friends and they had a good time. I decided not to go because Addie was just a little to small and I still wanted her to be able to hear throughout life- so we just stayed home. When they got home, Macie came running up to me and gave me the biggest hug and said "a scary mommy, planes really loud, I go home!" So cute and so funny- she also talked about this experience for the next 3 weeks. Apparently big things like this really impact her. I'm just glad that it didn't make her afraid of planes, seeing that we will be flying on one in December.
We went to a Cleveland Indians baseball game. This was our first time going as a family- it was alot of fun. We thought that Macie would really enjoy it, and she kind of did. During the first inning there were 2 homeruns- well- with each homerun they do fireworks. Basically the fireworks scared her to death and all she wanted to do the rest of the time was sit on my lap and hug me as tight as she could while saying "it's time to go!" I think near the end she had calmed down enough that she was enjoying herself. The funniest part about this game is that in EVERY prayer we now say- she adds in "and go to the ballgame"- I don't know where she picked this up, but it is pretty funny, seeing how we thought that she didn't even enjoy herself.

Where's the puzzle pieces????
Sorry for so many posts, but this was just way to funny!!!
Tonight Macie wanted to take her new puzzle to bed with her, so I said OK!!! She was so excited and I knew that it would provide endless entertainment for her. Anyways- I just went in there to check on her and make sure that she was tucked in. I was cleaning up the puzzle when I noticed that a few pieces were missing. So I move all of her covers, her pillow, and even her body and I still could not find them. Well, in the process of moving her body, I thought that I felt something. So I investigate a little further and this is what I find!!! Hahaha!!! I don't know what she was thinking- but I thought that it was pretty funny! (I unzipped the pj's for the picture- somehow she got them down there with the zipper up!)

Little Addie
Today Addie looked so cute that I just had to take some pictures of her- she was happy and smiling. She is such a sweetheart and gets so happy everytime she sees Macie- it is sooo cute!! She is growing, but I must admit that I am glad that she is still pretty tiny- I just love to sit and hold her. We are so grateful for her in our lives and just love her to pieces.

Crazy Macie
Lately Macie loves to do crafts. She loves to paint, glue, play play-doh (if you call that a craft), and just do anything where I make her wear her apron. Anyways- while I was cutting wood- Geoff was inside with the girls and Macie decided that she was going to throw the puff balls all over the dining room, pick them up, and then do it all again, several times!!! How FUN!!!! (I don't why she thought this was fun- but whatever keeps her entertained!)
Fabulous Friday
This past week has been one CRAZY week. I was in charge of our fabulous friday (like a super saturday, but on a friday night instead) for our ward. Needless to say- I feel like I have had a full time job the past two weeks. I think that I have been to Home Depot and Joann's about 10 times each. I printed and cut more than $200.00 worth of vinyl lettering, cut over 200 wood blocks, bought Joann's out of paint and filled my car to the max to get everything to the church- but it was a huge success and everyone loved it!! I loved finding some of the crafts to do and seeing all of the finished products!!! Thanks to everyone who helped watch my kids so I could get some stuff done- you guys are the best!!!
Here is a picture of me cutting wood for your viewing pleasure!! (don't laugh to hard!!)
oh- and I should mention- that I did not ask Geoff to take these pics- he just opened the garage door and said my name and these were the result!!!
