The conversations of an almost 5 year old......

Halle: "Macie, are you feeling better today?"
Macie: "Ya, a little, I had to stay home yesterday and read books in my moms room."
Halle: "How BORING!!"
Macie: " I know. I had to do that after lunch. Lame huh!"
Halle: "ya, lame!"

Then on Wednesday Halle was at our house for lunch and this is the conversation that took place:
Halle: "Macie, guess what?"
Macie: "What?"
Halle: "My mom and dad kiss on the lips."
Macie: "Ewe! That's gross!"
Halle: "I know"
Macie: "Who kisses who?"
Halle: "My mom kisses my dad."

Hahahaha!! So stinking funny!!! I love, love, love to listen to her and her friends talk! The things they come up with are hilarious!

Macie also said this the other day: "Hey mom, I need a short sleeve shirt and short sleeve pants."

Life

I find that February is such a boring month. You are so ready for winter to be over and for it to be spring. There is really nothing going on and you just exist from day to day. Seriously....so boring!!! Maybe it would help if I had a project or something to work on, but when you are trying to sell your house, that is the last thing that you need, more junk. Anyways...here are some fun pics of the girls to keep you entertained.

Geoff and I went on a date,a double date!! It was a ton of fun! It has been a long time since we have been on a date with friends. We went out to dinner and then tobagganing. It was soooo fun!!! This was one of the things that was on my check list before we move! Thanks Laura for making it really happen!!

Ice Skating Lessons

Macie has been in Ice skating lessons for the past 5 weeks. She liked them, but did not love them. She has asked me if she can just stick with dance. (Ok, twist my arm!) She started off the first week using a little metal push thing that allowed her to stay up and get used to the skates. By the second week, she didn't need the helper and was off and skating. She did an amazing job and learned very quickly. She was the only one in her class that was able to advance to the next level.the metal helperskating on her ownComing over to say to me.
