Leaves

I took Addie out to play in the leaves the other day. I love these pictures because I feel that they tell the story of the whole experience.

After this point she was full on crying. It was pretty cute. Who knew that she didn't like leaves. Now we know.

Girls

The other night Geoff took Addie out of the tub, got her in her pj's and then proceded to do this to her. Poor girl didn't know what she looked like and she thought that it was funny.

That same night Macie and Geoff were racing to the tub and Macie wasn't watching where she was going and she ran straight into the corner of a wall. Ya. She was running pretty hard. Almost instantly this nice bruise showed up on her forhead and she had a nice red line going down her whole face. I am pretty sure that this is the hardest she has ever cried over getting hurt. Woohoo for cool kids!!

Carving Pumkins

We had our Friends the Welch's over the other night to carve pumkins. We did this last year too and it was a lot of fun. It usually ends up being the dad's carving and the ladies talking and taking care of the kids. Last year the guys spent FOREVER on their designs because they were sooo complicated, so...this year they decided to go a little easier so they could actually finish them in one night.

We bought Macie and Cole pumpkins that they could paint. They thought that that was pretty cool.

Bath Time

Chagrin Nature Center

Last Saturday we decided to head out and check out this nature center that is about 15 min. from our house. It was a fun little outing filled with a walk around a lake, seeing a waterfall and being able to see some animals. Thank you Ohio for your many free family friendly activities.Macie being a cheeseball. Hey...at least she smiled!Addie saying "cheese"!

Potty talk

This is a conversation that I had with Macie today while she was going potty:
Macie: "mommy, go away! I'm going poopy!"
Me: "I can't, I'm doing my hair"
Macie: "but I need you to go away, it's stinky in here!"

Recent Happenings

For some reason I haven't been able to find enough time to blog lately. So, here are a few pictures of what we have been up to. Addie had her first big fall. She fell down the stairs while at a friends house. *note: this is not the friends fault, I might have forgot to mention to her that Addie really loves the stairs and that she likes to follow Macie everywhere!!*
Addie thinks that she is really big and likes to take clothes on and off. Here she is taking Macie's pj's on and off. She thinks that she is really funny when she does this.Macie is in dance class now and loves it!! She gets sooo excited every time it is a dance day. I am pretty sure that she is going to be a dancer. She just loves it!! She asks just about every night if her 'dance class' (aka "so you think you can dance") is on. When it is, we have to let her stay up for a little bit so she can watch it and try and dance just like they do. (most of the time it is pretty funny to watch, which is why we usually let her stay up!) It is Great comic relief!!!!Here are the girls playing in the play house. Addie thinks that she is soo big because she can climb in and out of the house and she can lift herself up to stand at the window and look out.In the play house again. Addie LOVES to wear these necklaces. Any time she sees one, she has to put it on. She almost always has to have one on when we leave the house. It is Hilarious and very cute!!!Brushing Teeth. This is one of Addie's favorite things to do. She gets sooo excited every time we pull out the toothbrushes. She just sits and says "AHHH". It is to cute.Macie was trying to hold Addie. She really likes to try and hold her, but Addie usually doesn't like it. Macie doesn't seem to mind though, because she always just keeps grabbing her until we finally tell her to stop.
