Camden Laughing

So I have been trying to upload a few videos of Camden lately and none of them have been working for some reason. Well, I finally got one to work, so here is a little glimpse of the little guy laughing at some balloons.

Tumbling and Dance class

The girls started some dance and tumbling classes this last month. They had a night where the parents could come and watch to see what they have learned. It was fun to go and see. I already knew everything Macie had learned because it was all we would hear and see all week. Addie was a different story and I could never get anything out of her as far as what she was learning.
Macie decided to take a tumbling and cheerleading class. It was TOTALLY her choice. Trust me. To have to listen to those cheers over and over and then to watch her do them about made Geoff puke. She really liked it though and did pretty good.
Here she is showing us her bridge.
Learning to do a back walkover.
Addie decided to take a tap and ballet class. She seemed to really enjoy it. She loves to dance. If I had my choice, the tap would be gone and it would just be ballet, but for some reason, Texas really loves tap and cheerleading, so finding any class without one of them is pretty hard.
 Addie during her tap routine.
 Following the teacher.
Now showing us their ballet routine.
Keep in mind that I am trying to entertain Camden while filming this, so yes, it is a little bumpy. Sorry.

Pumpkin Carving

For Family night we carved our pumpkin! The girls were so excited. Macie loved getting her hands in there and cleaning it out. Addie, not so much. I think she put her hand in two times and then went and washed her hands and never put them back in. Macie basically cleaned out the entire thing, with the help of me scraping it. The pumpkin this year was designed by the girls. They drew a picture of what they wanted it to look like and then Geoff made it come  it to life, with a little added detail!
I love this picture. I don't know what we were talking about...but everyone is sooo serious!
Cleaning out the pumpkin. This is Macie's initial reaction. So funny. By the end she was trying to get Addie into it telling her that it felt fun to play with.
 Carving out the face.
The end result with some very happy girls!
Notice the loose tooth...that was added just for Macie.
Then we had to use the push in pumpkin pieces to make all types of fun creations. Here they are showing off their awesome pumpkin!
And let's not forget the little man...This is what he was busy doing while the girls and dad were carving. Pushing around a kitchen chair as if it is a walker. He loves to do this and I will find chairs all around my kitchen on a regular daily basis.

Hair cut

The little guy has been needing a small trim for quite some time. I know that you look at his hair and don't see much, but he had some hair on the sides of his head that been growing since birth and they were long. When I say long, I mean he was starting to look like he was an old man with these long hairs coming out of  his ears, only the hair was right above his ears. Anyways, we couldn't handle it any longer and took out the trimmer. (Keep in mind that Camden hates buzzing/loud noises. As in, I can't even vacuum unless Geoff is home to take him outside because he screams bloody murder the entire time and I feel bad making him sit and scream like that when our entire house is carpet.) So, one night before bed we trimmed his side hairs. He did not like it one bit. Screaming and trying to grab whatever he could to make it stop and get away. But he looks so much better without  those long man hairs.
 What is happening?!
Mom, stop taking pictures and save me! Please!
Seriously...are you done yet?!  (Also notice the girls faces in the mirror. It is pretty funny.) Don't worry. He recovered nicely and went to bed just fine. :)

Addie was playing the other day and was trying to be fancy... this is the result. She has Camden's toys all up her arms and dangling necklaces. Silly girl. When she gets in a fancy mood, we must refer to her as fancy and not Addie. Best part is that she actually will respond when you call her that!
Addie got to bring home "COCO" the bear from school this weekend. It has been quite the exciting event. They have been talking about this for a couple of weeks and how much fun it will be and all of the things that they will do with him, etc. So, when Addie came home from school, she said: "mom, I am going to hide Coco bear so when Macie gets home I can surprise her!" So when Macie got home, Addie said "Macie, I have a surprise for you from school!" Macie's immediate reaction was: "Is it Coco bear?! Did you get to bring him home?!" (Seriously the excitement was hilarious!) So they have had a great weekend with Coco. We had to document what we did with him. Here the girls are with Coco decorating witch hat cookies for the ward party. I have to laugh when I look at this picture because both of the girls have huge cheeks that are filled with chocolates! Haha!
This little guy thinks that he is ready to start walking!!! Every time you go to set him down, he refuses to sit and will just stand there until he realizes he can't move, and then he will fall down and start to crawl. But yesterday when he woke up from his nap, I set him down in the toy room to go and torture play, with the girls and instead of falling, he took 4 steps. All on his own!! I yelled to Geoff to bring up the camera, but the little guy refused to walk again. I am sure that the next few days will bring more walking and more baby proofing!!! He also learned to clap this week! It is so darn cute! He is getting so big.

One more thing that I thought was so funny this week: On Thursday after picking Macie up from school, I asked her how her day was. She said: "Good. The worst part was when we had to watch Monster's Inc." Trying to hold in the laughter, I said, "Did you watch the whole thing? and why are you watching that show?"
Macie: "No, we didn't watch the whole thing, it is going to take us a couple of weeks to watch it. We are watching it because we are starting to learn about monsters."
I had to laugh. Seriously...what child would say that the worst part of their day was having to watch a pixar show!? Only my daughter would think that that was so awful!

9 months

Camden...Where do I start with this little guy?!!  He is so much fun! We all love him to pieces and can't seem to get enough of him. He is sooooo super busy. I find myself actually having to baby proof my house. Something that I never really had to do with my girls. He gets into EVERYTHING!! We already know that if it is quiet, that he is up to no good. He knows how to open all of the cupboards and I have found him with the dish soap bottle in his mouth (luckily it was closed). He loves to crawl over to my plant and knock it over and break all of the grass that is in it.

At 9 months he  Weighs:  22 lbs.  80%
Height: 29 1/2 inches   85%
He is a big boy who loves to eat anything and everything that we are eating. He hardly ever gets baby food anymore. He loves to laugh and he loves to whine. He is very good at both, however maybe a little bit better at the whining. He loves his binkie. If you would have asked us 2 months ago if liked his binkie, we would have said no, now we can't get him to let go of it. I am not sure how I feel about this. On one hand it is really nice because it stops everything from going into his mouth, on the other, he is so attached that the only way to get him to stop crying and whining is to give him the binkie. He can say "mama, baba(byby)". He waves and when you say "big boy" he will raise his arms in the air and get a huge grin. Also, whenever he is getting into something that he shouldn't and we say "no no" he just looks at us, smiles, and keeps doing it like it is a game. Little turkey!!! He is learning new things everyday and we don't know what we would do without him.
Here he is "helping" me with his laundry.  Look at that cute little smile though.....
What mom?! (also, don't mind the santa pj's...the kid is so big, they won't fit him by Christmas and they fit him perfectly now!)
Here he is "helping" with the dishes. This is one of his favorite things to do.
Notice the big bruise on his forehead....we already call him bruiser. He constantly has one.
What are these....stairs?! He will climb up the first step and then fall back words off of it. One day he will learn.
He LOVES shoes. In particular Addie's flip flops. When he doesn't have a binkie in these are in his mouth. YUM right?! Totally grosses me out. We have started putting our shoes in the closet because of this.
These are my pumpkins that say BOO. They are usually stacked and look really cute. His favorite thing to do is knock them over and chase them around.
Here I am asking him what he is doing....his response, that cute little smile.
One of his favorite (and only) cabinets that he allowed to get into is the snack one. Here he is trying to get a fruit snack out of the bucket. He finally grabs 2 and starts munching away. Then he gets tired of them and is off again leaving a trail behind him. (Also, he normally does have shorts on, just sometimes when it is hot and we are just staying home, I don't put them back on him unless we are going somewhere).
He loves to be doing whatever the girls are doing. The girls were trying to color this big color wonder mat last week. He crawled right over to see what was going on. I love, love, love these pictures. They truly capture who he is and how the girls handle him. The very first picture he is licking the mat trying to get some of the water off of it. Then he is just checking it out. Then in the very middle picture he gets board, and turns and attacks Addie. She just falls over waiting to be rescued, because she isn't strong enough to fight back (she only weighs about 10 lbs. more than him). Next he moves onto the stairs. Finally he comes back around and starts attacking Macie. She is alot more fun because she can actually handle him. She continues coloring and playing while he crawls all over her. In the bottom middle picture, she is making a spitting noise and he is trying to copy her. So cute! These kids sure love each other and the girls (thankfully) are sooo very patient with a little brother that loves to destroy whatever they are doing.

Busy, busy, busy

Life lately has been super busy!! I feel as though the weeks are just flying by and can't believe that in about 6 weeks we will have another little one in our family. AHH!!! There is WAY to much to do and not enough time before this little girl arrives. We haven't even had time to start thinking of a name. (In all reality, we just pretend like I'm not pregnant and when she gets here, life will really get crazy!) First off, Geoff went out of town about 2 weeks ago for 4 days. The girls really hate it when he leaves, so they thought that it would be nice to write him a note so he could remember them. (They thought of this all on their own! SO cute!)
Macie's is first and it says: "I will miss you and hope you have fun. Love, Macie"
Addie's is next and it says: "I love you. I hope you have a good time. Love, Addie"  Seriously...so thoughtful! I told Geoff that if I was going out of town and they did this for me I would have cried.

Next, I decided to start up the vinyl business again!! Why you ask?? I don't know.... There seems to be a real interest in it down here and I have the machine, so why not try and see if we can make a little extra side money with it. At this point (because the machine and everything is paid for,) everything is profit, so why not?!  So...I have been doing orders here and there for people that I know and then I decided to sign up for 3-4 craft fairs in the next few weeks. It has given me something to do while Camden naps, but has also made life super busy....as in, every spare second that I have, I am making vinyl signs. It has been fun though. I just hope that it pays off and that they sell at the craft fairs. Here is a look at the office where the vinyl has exploded.....
Signs ready to be taped and cut.
Little pieces to signs that need to be put together and on wood.

We have also been decorating the house for Halloween/Fall. It has actually cooled down a little bit this year- into the high 80's-  to where it is actually feeling like fall. It is soooo nice. (Last year it was in the hundreds still until the middle of October...as in, it never felt like fall!)  So the girls and I have been busy decorating and doing crafts. Here is a picture of our staircase. The girls made the spooky ghosts hanging from the lights and they love the Halloween orange lights that they get to plug in.
Then I made some vinyl spiders to go up the staircase. It is so fun. Macie's comment on the house decor "Our house is so spooky nobody is going to want to come over because it is too scary!"
 The spiders!

The girls have been busy in school. Addie started a different preschool this past week. The other one was to much and scheduling was a pain with Camden's naps, so I finally found what I was looking for and switched her over!! I am soooooo glad that I did. It has made a big difference and we are all so much happier. She goes everyday now from 8:15-11:45. It is so great. We also started them in dance/tumbling classes. Addie is taking a ballet and tap class and Macie is taking a tumbling and cheer leading class. They love them! We don't know what we were thinking signing Macie up for this class, but it is the one she wanted and now all we hear are the cheers she is learning. We also signed them up for swimming lessons, so life is getting pretty crazy. The kids are growing and getting so big.
This week, Macie lost 2 teeth (within a 24 hour period!!!) One was on bottom and one was on top!  Every time she smiles, all Geoff and I can do is laugh! It just looks so funny. She also now has a little lisp when she talks. I have even caught her a few times looking in the mirror with this huge grin just checking it all out. The tooth fairy both nights gave her $0.36.
For documentation purposes...the story behind the tooth losing:  We were at the gym and had just got done swimming. We were changing because Macie's tumbling class was starting in about 10 minutes. I had brought her a snack, a piece of licorice. She was eating it and all of a sudden the bottom tooth came flying out onto the ground. It was pretty funny. She was bleeding like crazy and was just as shocked as we were. The top tooth was pretty loose and we knew that by Christmas it would be out. (She has been hoping that both top teeth would fall out around Christmas so she could sing "my two front teeth".) She came home from school with her tooth seriously hanging by a thread. I so wish that I would have taken a picture. It was hanging lower than all of her other teeth and was all twisted. She looked like a complete hillbilly...to the point that I was embarrassed to go out with her in public. But she would NOT pull it out. She was being so funny about it and was getting so upset that Geoff and I kept asking to see it. We eventually just stopped talking about it and let her deal with it the way that she wanted to. Geoff and I ended up going on a date this night (our first one since Camden was born!!). We came home and her tooth was sitting on the nightstand. When I asked the babysitter what happened, she said that she put the girls to bed and Macie just came out and said "my tooth just fell out."  When we asked Macie the next day, she said that it just fell out in her bad and she thought that she lost it in her sheets. She said that there was no blood and she just went back to sleep.
