Tennis Anyone???

Church time

Today Macie looked so cute in her dress, I just had to take some pictures. Her hair is really curly too, so I just decided to leave it down and put a headband in- I didn't know how good this would go- but she actually did pretty good with leaving it in. I also think I was so excited because she got this dress as a gift when she was born- so I have been waiting a long time to see this one on her!

The Beach

Yesterday we went to a beach on Lake Erie. It was alot of fun and we had a great time. The weather was perfect- until about 2 1/2 hours into swimming when the beach got closed because of thunder and lightening headed our way. It was good timing though- I think that we were all tuckered out! Macie once again- did not want to stay out of the water. She loves swimming!! Geoff was so good to keep going out with her and playing with her in the water. It was so funny to watch her in the water because she had a hard time walking in it- ya know- the ground isn't level, waves keep coming that are as big as her- and so on. Anyways- she looked like she was drunk. She couldn't walk straight if her life depended on it and she kept taking a dunk under the water when a wave would hit- every time she was about to go under she would make sure and open her mouth really big as if that would help her stay afloat- it did not however help her- it probably just made things worse!! It was really funny though- and don't worry- we were right there next to her the whole time-so she was never under water for to long!!!

Swim time

So we were finally able to pull the pool out. Macie LOVES to swim!! She would go swimming everyday if we would let her. We went over to our friends house and they had their pool set up and we put our pool under their slide on the swingset. Then we also had an elmo sprinkler going for the kids. They loved it!!!! Macie was going crazy. She would run through the sprinkler saying "I'm swimmin' " It was great. She then would go from pool to pool and jump in or belly flop or whatever and would just sit and laugh. To cute! Enjoy the pics and be glad that you don't live in the humidity!!!!!!!!

Memorial Day Parade

On Monday they had a parade just up the street from us. It was nice and warm outside, the sun was shining and the parade within walking distance- what more could you ask for! Macie was excited and got a lot of candy. There were some really cool floats including one with a man playing an organ and when he did- bubbles would come out. So cool!!! The only sad thing in the whole event was when I was picking up candy for Macie and a big old tootsie pop sucker wallops me in the head. Can we say OW!!!!! ok- so it hurt and I had a little goose egg with bruising where it hit!

Anyways- all in all it was fun and a great day!

New baby

We had an ultrasound today and they printed off some new pics of the baby. The first one is a 3D pic and the second one is a profile. Sorry they are kind of blury, but I don't have a scanner, so I just took pics of the ultrasound with my camera. In the 3D one- the baby's foot is on top of her head. Pretty wierd. Anyways- just thought that you would enjoy.

Big girl Bed

This past week we put up Macie's new bed. It is so cute and fun to see her in it. She looks so little to be in such a big bed. She loves it though. Her new favorite thing to do is to climb into it and just sit and read stories. It is pretty funny. She has done pretty good in it though. She has taken naps in it and gone to bed once without tears and once with tears. We will see how tonight goes. It is so funny to be downstairs knowing that you have tucked her into bed and then you hear little footsteps going across her room to the book shelf. She will grab more books and then climb back in bed with the new ones. To cute. It is so funny how she seems so big and yet so little at the same time.

Zoo Time

About a week ago Geoff's parents were in town. It was fun to have family here and to see Macie interact with them. While they were here we were able to go to the zoo. It was a lot of fun and Macie really enjoyed seeing all of the animals. I think her favorites were the ducks because they were just out wondering around. She got so close to them and was chasing them. It was pretty cute. She got to close a few times and they started to hiss at her and open their mouths like they were going to attack her. It was pretty funny! Anyways- it was a good time and a nice day to go.

Macie and Cole

These are just a few pictures of Macie and her friend Cole. We went to the Nature Center together and Macie wouldn't let go of Cole's hand. - She kept saying "come on Cole" and then would lead him to the next thing. It was just to cute- although I don't know how much Cole liked it!- So I snagged some pics of them and here they are.
This was also the first time I have ever put her hair in a pony tail. To cute- it makes her look so big!!!

Macie's Birthday

Monday was Macie's birthday!! She turned 2!! We had a fun day with her going to the park and enjoying time together as a family. It took us all day to convince her that it was her birthday and not Geoff's. (His was a couple of weeks ago- so she automatically thinks it is his birthday!) But we finally convinced her by the time all of our friends came over that night. She was actually saying happy birthday Macie instead of happy birthday daddy. We had a fun time and invited some friends over that evening for cake and ice cream. She had a winnie the pooh cake- it was so cute. When it came time to sing happy birthday to her- she got so shy in front of everyone that she wouldn't even blow out her candles. All of the other kids came over and did it for her. It was pretty funny. We kept telling her to blow out her candles and she just kept saying "no".
Anyways- she got alot of presents and all in all I think that it was a great birthday!
It is just insane to me that we have a 2 year old!!!! AHHH!!!
