Messy Macie

Geoff and Macie were making brownies for family night and Macie really wanted to lick the spoon. So Geoff let her. Here is how messy she got in the process. She made sure that she got every last drop off of that spoon. It was pretty funny. She kept inspecting it to make sure there was nothing left.

The other morning, I was getting ready and went upstairs to go and get Addie. Macie was left downstairs watching cartoons. When I came back downstairs, She had a pen and was looking in the mirror as she colored on her face!!!! It was pretty funny. She was surely enjoying herself. I think she was trying to color a mustache.

Timeout

The other day Macie and her friend got put in timeout. They were being really naughty. We put them in time out on the stairs. They started talking. This is what was said:

Macie: "Hey Tony, you want to cry with me?"

Tony: "No!"

Macie: "Oh!?! Ahhh, ahhh." (fake crying) then she notices that Tony isn't joining in, and she stops.

I was laughing so hard. If you could have seen the facial expressions that went with this conversation....priceless!

Macie's light

So, the other day when Macie was supposed to be sleeping, we hear this big crash upstairs in her room. So we go up to take a look at what happened and she had knocked her lamp down which broke the light bulb. We started to ask her what happened and this is what she did.

*when she all of a sudden disappears out of sight, it is because she slipped on the floor and fell. Those of you who know Macie and what a klutz she is....this is really funny!!!!!

This is Addie bouncing in the bouncer. Sometimes she bounces to the music in the background. She loves it. It is sooo cute.

Niagara Falls

This past week was Geoff's spring break. We took the opportunity to take a sweet little vacation up to Niagara Falls. We got an AWESOME deal at our hotel. It included a $50 dinner voucher at their restaurant which oversees the falls, a free breakfast voucher at the same restaurant and bird atrium tickets to the nations largest bird aviary. It was great!!! We had a fun time with some good friends, the girls traveled well, plus we got in some shopping!!!!The falls. We wanted to get this super cool picture of us looking out over the falls, but little miss Macie would not cooperate. So, I am pretty sure Geoff is looking at the falls, Macie is pouting, and I am telling her to turn around. Oh, the excitement! Macie and I looking at the rainbow.

This is the awesome restaurant overlooking the falls. It was hugely overpriced, but the food was good. We all settled for soup and salad so we could stay within the voucher price and not have to pay anything extra.

This is our friend Sydney. She is about 3 months younger than Addie. They are going to be good friends! They are already fighting for the same toy!!!

The girls getting ready to go swimming. The pool was fun. They even had a water slide, but Macie was to little for it, so we didn't go down. Sorry no pictures of the pool. Our hands were a little full.

Macie Funnies

Macie has been saying some pretty funny things lately. Here are some of our favorites:
*She was washing her hands today and I walked into the bathroom and asked her what she was doing. Her response: "washing my hands with syrup"....aka soap
*She was having pizza for dinner and said "where did this come from"
me: "where did it come from?"
her: "from the microphone? did you cook it in the microphone?"....aka microwave
*We went swimming this week and when Geoff was changing into his swimwuit she said "is that your potty thing??!!??"......aka you know what I'm talking about
* her prayer tonight during dinner went like this:
..."Bless Grandma and papa (starts looking around the room and happens to glance outside) Oh look, there's a doggy!!!!!! (she was super excited) bless the food...."
Oh it is soooo fun having her in the house, she keeps us laughing!

Ice CrEAm

The other day we were leaving a store and getting ready to come home. We told Macie that we were all done shopping and that it was time to go home. She was sooo sad and started crying because she wanted to go to another store. So Geoff said, "Macie, do you want to go and get some ice cream?"
Macie: (really excited) "ya, that makes my crying all better"

Mission Call

My little brother got his mission call this past week . He is going to Calgary, Canada. We are sooo happy for him and know that he will be an awesome missionary!!! Congrats Tyson! We love you!!

Girls

Here are a few pics of the girls wearing the same dress. They are both about 8 months old. I still don't think that they look alot alike. Besides the eyes- I don't see alot of similarities.

Keeping Busy

Macie is always going and finding new things to do. Here are some of the things that Macie has been doing to keep busy over the past week. (Yes, she thinks of all these things by herself!!!)Wearing shoes and panties while climbing on the kitchen ladder.
