The girls the other day were playing dress ups. This is the first time that Addie has worn a dress up and it is pretty darn cute. She was soooo excited. Anything to be like sissy!!
Macie had her dance recital this morning. She has been asking all week if it is time to go to the church and dance on the stage and today was the day. It was finally here and boy was she excited. Here are a few pics of her in her costume and then a video of her dancing. Enjoy! We sure did!!!A family pic

Looking at the teacher to make sure that she is doing the right moves
Soooooo cute! I can't believe that I have a girl big enough to do this!!
Here is the video for Macie's recital. Sorry the video keeps stopping. I don't know why or what is wrong with it. Also, sorry for the movement, at times I was laughing and it is hard to hold a camera still while laughing. :)
So.... I am pretty sure that I have the BEST husband EVER!!!!! I got home last night from taking Macie to dance and he is there with dinner on the table, dressed rather nicely, (and looking good), and hands me a pair of tickets to.....MAMA MIA at the Playhouse. I was soooooo excited!!! To say that I love ABBA music would be a huge understatement. For those of you who know my family, you know that I grew up with this music and it is very much apart of me. So, after dinner he took the kids over to the neighbor's house and we were off. It was such a great show I could go back tonight and watch again. It was so fun to go and see and we had a great time. Thanks babe for the awesome date and suprise!!!! I love you!!!
Happy Halloween. This year was full of fun activities. We were able to dress up a total of 5 times. We had 2 halloween parties, a trick or treat at a mall, a trick or treat at a college here, and trick or treating on Halloween night. I think that we had enough halloween for one year. Here are a few pictures of the girls in their costumes. Here is our official Halloween picture of the year. It is one of the few that I got with both girls and both of them are actually looking at me!!!!
At the ward halloween party. Waiting to go in.I don't know why she is pouting here, but it was to cute not to capture. The back of the costumeMacie fishing for prizes and candy. She could have stayed at this one all night.
Decorating cookies Halloween Eve.
We went trick or treating with the neighbors. It was a lot of fun. Macie ended up going with the Jolivette's a whole extra hour and came home with a ton of candy. In the end her bucket was full and to heavy to carry. Here is the whole group before we started. At a door trick or treatingAddie thinking she is bigChecking out the loot at the end.
I took Addie out to play in the leaves the other day. I love these pictures because I feel that they tell the story of the whole experience.
First she is happy to be here playing.
Looking down to see what she is sitting in
Realizing what it is and that she doesn't really like it
Help get me out of here. These leaves won't get off of me. After this point she was full on crying. It was pretty cute. Who knew that she didn't like leaves. Now we know.
The other night Geoff took Addie out of the tub, got her in her pj's and then proceded to do this to her. Poor girl didn't know what she looked like and she thought that it was funny.
That same night Macie and Geoff were racing to the tub and Macie wasn't watching where she was going and she ran straight into the corner of a wall. Ya. She was running pretty hard. Almost instantly this nice bruise showed up on her forhead and she had a nice red line going down her whole face. I am pretty sure that this is the hardest she has ever cried over getting hurt. Woohoo for cool kids!!
We had our Friends the Welch's over the other night to carve pumkins. We did this last year too and it was a lot of fun. It usually ends up being the dad's carving and the ladies talking and taking care of the kids. Last year the guys spent FOREVER on their designs because they were sooo complicated, so...this year they decided to go a little easier so they could actually finish them in one night.
We bought Macie and Cole pumpkins that they could paint. They thought that that was pretty cool.
