A Very Rainy Day

It has been raining here a little more than usual lately. It is wonderful! We always love a good rain storm, especially when it is still warm out so the kids can go out and play in it. Yesterday was Sunday. We were all hanging out inside when it started to poor. The kids instantly looked at Geoff and I and asked, begged if they could get their jackets on and go out and play in it.

After we got them all in a jacket (yes, that included Camden wearing a girl jacket) and some boots on they headed out.

I love that my kids have a love for a good rain storm. They love to play in them. I hope they have good memories of these days when they get older. It is always so fun to sit and watch them all run around and scream and laugh together. These are moments that I love and cherish as a mother. They played outside all morning and were COMPLETELY soaked and asking for some hot chocolate by the time they came in.

 This is the best I could get of all of them soaking wet. Brynlee had already come inside and back out at this point. (or maybe I shooed her back out so I could get a cute pic of them all?!)
